APM Advisors (APMA) practice is focused on the Application Performance Management (APM) marketplace. In February 2004, APMA published the Application Front End (AFE) paper. This was the first document to classify the next generation of products that are destined to replace what were traditionally Server Load Balancers. In the 2nd Edition of the AFE paper, APMA provides an update on the products and trends occurring in the space as well as providing a more in depth look at how these products are being utilized within a few systems today.
