During Red Nose Day in 2001 Zeus Web Servers helped process over 100 million hits and at the busiest times over 3000 secure transactions per minute, making the site one of the world's busiest e-commerce sites at the time. Comic Relief hopes to build on the success during Red Nose Day 2003.

There'll no escaping 'The Big Hair Do' as Red Nose Day comes over all fuzzy on 14 March '03. Big hair, hair with flair, hair pieces, and even under-arm hair - Comic Relief will be encouraging everyone to let it all hang out to raise money that will help some of the poorest and most vulnerable people in Africa and the UK to help themselves.

A whole load of hair themed merchandise, all produced exclusively for Red Nose Day 2003, will support the five-week campaign, with some of the UK's best-known brands investing bags of time, money and effort to help raise cash for Comic Relief.
Preening and pruning is what it's all about, with no toupee left unturned as the UK gets ready for Red Nose Day 2003. Even the likes of David Beckham will be put to shame, as people across the land ponder on how to turn their do into something that may need planning permission, all for Comic Relief.
