The benchmark, running on a 16 processor HP Integrity rx8620, is the fastest SPECweb99_SSL ever recorded, and is more than twice as fast the closest competitor, IBM's implementation of Apache. The previous record of 4,700 was also set by Zeus Web Server, running on an HP Server rp8400.
Zeus Web Server also continues to dominate the SPECWeb99 benchmarks, with a score of 21,000 achieved on an IBM eServer pSeries 690 HPC, again almost twice as fast as it's closest competitor, IBM's implementation of Apache.
The fastest SPECWeb99 score running on Microsoft's IIS currently stands at 8,001, 38% of Zeus's new record score. No SPECWeb99_SSL scores for IIS have been submitted.
