Play.com is the the UK's second most visited online retailer with in excess of two million customers in over 30 countries. Originally supplying only DVDs, today Play.com also offers CDs, games, books and electronics, and differentiates itself from competitors pioneering free delivery on the internet.
Due to significant growth in business and therefore website traffic, Play.com required a scaleable solution that would improve the performance of their website.
