To ensure deployment of its award-winning traffic management solutions is easier than ever, Zeus Technology is extending its successful ZXTM product portfolio with the launch of a range of appliances.

Zeus will offer its Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager (ZXTM) technology as either software or hardware, delivering greater flexibility and choice to both customers and partners around the globe.

Complementing the established range of Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager (ZXTM) software, the three new appliances vary from an entry-level load balancing solution to a feature-rich, high-performance traffic manager. ZXTM 2000 LB is a powerful, fault-tolerant load balancing solution running on a single 64-bit processor. With added functionality, both ZXTM 5000 and ZXTM 7000 deliver true integration of system security, optimization and traffic management and feature Zeus' unique TrafficScript scripting language and TrafficCluster scalability. Running on dual Opteron processors, ZXTM 7000 has the additional capabilities of bandwidth and service level management.

Designed to drive performance and deliver cost efficiencies to web-enabled businesses around the globe, ZXTM products are vertically scalable, enabling businesses to upgrade from load balancing to a full application traffic management solution as required, without complicated migration. Bringing operational efficiencies to any website, ZXTM accelerates and introduces security to web-based applications. The TrafficCluster feature, available on both the 5000 and 7000 versions, enables deployment in clusters rather than pairs, which provides horizontal scalability and redundancy. All ZXTM appliances are pre-configured making deployment and set-up simple.
