US Ranks Zeus as Top Innovator

2005 is Zeus Technology's year, and there is a full trophy cabinet to prove it. To date Zeus' flagship product has scooped six awards from across the globe.
The latest accolades come from the US where Zeus has been selected as one of the top 50 Technology Innovators by leading magazine, IT Week. The list was compiled by IT Week editors looking for companies that have brought the most innovative technology to the global stage over the last year.
Ken Durham, editor of IT Week magazine, explained that the list had evolved from the magazine's observations about the new technologies it featured during the last year. And that although it was a hard choice, he was very proud to be able to showcase the great work these 50 companies have done in the magazine.
The magazine has rewarded Zeus for its innovative leading product Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager. ZXTM, which has already received a number of UK awards this year, combines three essential functions of traffic management, optimization and security into a single scaleable product. It consolidates functionality traditionally addressed by a number of point solutions such as offload balancing, SSL offload, application acceleration and XML processing. The only integrated software of its kind optimized for 64-bit hardware, ZXTM is also available as a ready to run appliance, delivering greater flexibility and choice to both customers and partners.
The accolade follows hot on the heels of Zeus Technology's ranking in the Top 50 Vendors for US publication Service Weekly Provider. Following an international search for the premium vendors of products or services, ZXTM once again stood out head and shoulders above the competition.

In addition to these awards, ZXTM has also won: Accelerator Product of the Year; Editor's Award for most innovative use of technology; 'Product Breakthrough' award in the Application-Aware Infrastructure category; Gold Award from Broadband-Testing; and a nomination for Infrastructure Technology Product of the Year.
