Working in close cooperation with industry-leading technology companies, VMware provides enterprise-level virtual infrastructure software to many of the world's largest organizations, introducing a new category of capabilities to the data center that enables businesses to reduce their IT costs through increased efficiency, flexibility and responsiveness.
As part of its accreditation as a VMware partner, Zeus has released a version of its Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager (ZXTM) software, which can be run as a Virtual Machine with VMware Player. As a software-based solution, ZXTM is uniquely placed to intelligently manage, secure and optimize complex application traffic in virtual environments.
VMware Virtual Machines are available through the VMware Technology Network (VMTN), an online technical resource established to help drive forward and facilitate the understanding of new advances in virtualization technology. VMTN's collection of pre-built virtual machines and virtual appliances are available to software developers for free download and evaluation, reducing time spent on installation and configuration processes. Zeus is also developing a new version of ZXTM that will become fully certified within a VMware Server environment, enabling companies to implement large-scale production server consolidation, business continuity, and enterprise-class desktop solutions with high performance, availability, manageability and security.
