Appliance Operating Environment
Zeus hardware appliances contain a hardened operating environment and a full set of web-based management tools to make deployment and integration swift and easy.
Tuned and Hardened
The operating system core is hardened against network attacks and tuned for optimal network performance. A dedicated management port (optional) restricts all sensitive management traffic to a nominated management network, including web-based admin traffic, remote login and inter-cluster communications.
Easy to manage
All common appliance configuration tasks are performed using a web-based administration tool. An initial configuration wizard allows for easy setup, from networking parameters to system time and timezone.
Automatic access log rotation, proactive hardware health monitoring and remote alerting of any problems ensure that Zeus hardware appliances function in maintenance-free mode in datacenter lights-out environments.
Secure and Up-to-Date
As part of the support and maintenance program, Zeus distributes security and stability updates to the ZXTM and third-party software in the appliances whenever required.
