Zeus Technology’s ZXTM 5.0 application delivery software receives IT Pro’s Editor’s Choice Award

IT Pro awards ZXTM 5.0 a top star rating and the Editor’s Choice award

Cambridge, UK, 18th September, 2008 – Zeus Technology, a leading provider of application delivery controller software, announced today that its latest ZXTM (Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager) version 5.0 has been award six out of six stars by IT Pro reviewer Roger Howarth and has received the IT Pro’s Editor’s Choice Award (http://www.itpro.co.uk/606069/zeus-extensible-traffic-manager-load-balancer-5).

Describing Zeus as a company with “an enviable reputation for high performance web servers and load balancing systems”, the review identifies ZXTM 5.0’s capacity to fulfill user requirements, from essential tasks such as handling traffic to web servers, to more sophisticated functions. This flexibility was recognised through its capacity to conveniently undertake a range of configurations, from session persistence to SSL connection support. Where web site security is a priority, security policies can be readily implemented and traffic can be encrypted between the appliance and the back-end servers.
