Offsite Training

In order to provide our customers with the freedom of choice, all of Zeus Technology's training solutions can be delivered either at Zeus Headquarters, Cambridge, UK or offsite with the customer.

Course Information

With offsite training courses we recommend a maximum class size of six due to the interactive nature of the content. However, we are happy to deliver courses to larger classes (facility and equipment permitting) upon request.

For courses held at an offsite location, one day will be required in advance of the start of the course to setup the training facility equipment and network. The fee for this aspect of the solution is a one-off charge of $2500 / £1500 / €2250.

Additional Expenses

Any additional expenses incurred by Zeus Technology as a result of carrying out services are to be met by the customer. These charges include travel, accommodation and subsistence. Coach or economy class will be used wherever possible to keep these expenses to a minimum. All expenses are charged at cost. Zeus Technology will keep the customer informed of all additional expenses.

Pre-Requisites

The following equipment is required for delivery of offsite courses:

• SVGA projector (support Windows Laptop resolution), projector screen and laser pointer.
• A separate and private network, including all network switching hardware and cabling.
• Sufficient power points for all equipment.
• The Zeus training consultant can setup a private DNS server for use by the training network. If this is not possible for any reason, the trainer will need access to the DNS of the network used for training.
• Whiteboard and markers or flipchart.
• External network access for the trainer's laptop.
• 1 workstation, keyboard, mouse and monitor per course attendee, plus an additional workstation for the trainer. If possible, these should be installed with Zeus-supported operating system (preferably Linux), though the consultant can install these machines as part of the setup day. Please note that all information stored on the hard disks of the workstations will be erased as part of the install process.
