Scheduled Courses

Audience
This course is designed for system and network engineers, technical support engineers and technical consultants. It is also suitable for pre-sales consultants who require more in-depth product knowledge.
Course Content
The ZXTM training programme is designed to provide trainees with a working knowledge of the product, sufficient to deploy, configure and maintain a production system. For example, this would include building a cluster of ZXTM servers which load balance a web server farm with intelligent traffic management.
The duration of the standard course is 2 days. Courses start at 9am and end at 5pm, with lunch provided.
The standard course explores ZXTM's core functionality, such that trainees are fully able to use the product in a production environment. The standard course is recommended for all ZXTM administrators.

Prerequisites
Trainees attending the Standard Course should have a working knowledge of Internet services and networking. An understanding of Unix/Linux is expected, e.g. TCP/IP and use of the shell. There is no requirement for scripting but trainees will benefit from being familiar with general system administration. For guidance, any trainee having completed a Zeus Web Server or Zeus Load Balancer course will find the ZXTM Standard course aimed at a similar level.
Other ZXTM Courses Available
Different ZXTM courses are offered to suit distinct audiences. The advanced course also covers more involved configuration suitable for experienced systems administrators.

- ZXTM combined (standard + advanced) training course (4.5 days)
The advanced course is only offered to trainees who have already been on the standard course. If required, both courses can be run sequentially in 4.5 days.
